Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy-Relaxation Version
This is the most popular massage therapy treatment I offer to my clients. Ashiatsu oriental bar therapy (AOBT) is a barefoot massage technique in which the therapist uses gravitational forces and distributes her body weight using her feet to apply deep, gentle and painless compression and long gliding strokes over the client's body. The pressure from the massage delivered by feet is deeper, yet less painful than a therapist using a thump or an elbow. Massage cream is applied for lubrication. With slow movement, Ashiatsu treatment provides you deep relaxation. AOBT is also excellent for relieving chronic back pain, loosening adhered tissues and tight muscles, and stimulate the body's own self-healing capabilities. This treatment is recommended for athletes, people with a larger build or anyone wanting to try something new. Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy is recognized by the American Medical Association and approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage (NCBTMB). Please note that Ashiatsu oriental bar therapy (AOBT) is recognized in Canada as a registered massage therapy modality so RMT receipts can be issued when receiving this treatment. Please do not hestitate to call or email me if you have any questions about AOBT. You can visit the Original home of Ashiatsu oriental bar therapy where I had my training to view a video of Ashiatsu massage here.
Thai Yoga Massage (Nuad Thai)-Relaxation Version
Thai yoga massage, the relaxating version, uses passive stretching and gentle pressure along the body’s energy lines to increase flexibility, relieve muscle and joint tension and balance the body’s energy systems. Thai yoga massage is both deeply relaxing and energizing. Thai yoga massage takes place either on a mat on the floor or on a sturdy massage table, and you wear loose fitting clothing.
Thai Oil Relaxing Massage
This special massage uses a combination of Swedish and Thai style massage techniques. The Thai Style Relaxation Massage applies a smooth flowing style that promotes general relaxation, improves circulation and range of movement, and relieves muscular tension. Either warm aromatic or unscented professional massage lotion, cream or oil is used to promote muscle relaxation and nourishes the skin.
Relaxing Hot Stone Massage
The Thai hot stone massage technique I have designed is different from the regular hot stone massage in many aspects. I begin by applying oil to the body, which allows the hot stones to glide smoothly along the muscles. You are lying face down, and the hot stones are used to massage the back. After the hot stones have relaxed the muscles, I put down the stones and use my hands to directly massage the skin. The hot stones may then be placed back on to the body and left for a short period of time. Thai Yoga stretching technique is also performed on you to allow your muscles to have full relaxation.
